Our Music Lesson Schedule

January - May

First Trimester

During the months of January through May our classes will be learning  and practicing songs for the Holiday Music Recital which takes place each year in December.

June - August

Second Trimester

Our Summer Schedule

Our summer classes are sometimes combined into one large class of all ages and abilities in each musical group. Summer is the typical time when families take vacations, so we try to cater to a laid-back summer attitude. So sign up for one month, two months or three, and take some time off to recharge your inner musical batteries. 

We review and practice during the summer months and perfect our technique. The weather is perfect for sitting outside and learning about how the sounds of nature influence our musical styles. 

We listen to many styles of recorded music and learn how to hear the differences in each musical style. 

The older students have a chance to show off a little and perform, while the younger students are enjoying a great opportunity to learn from them.

We hold "Summer Jam Sessions" where the community is invited to come and jam with us at the Mountain Empire Community Center once a month or so when the interest is there.

September - December

Third Trimester

During the months of September through December our classes will be learning and practicing songs for the Holiday Music Recital.
